1972 |
An Aries is born. |
1978-
1986 |
Spends most free time obsessively dressing Barbie dolls and younger brother |
1987 |
Has back surgery and sadly cannot ski with the rest of the family on ski vacation in Aspen Colorado. With so much free time on her hands, decides to experiment with puffy painting tee-shirts. First client: P.E. 101 in Aspen. |
1988 |
After realizing the success one can have with a few tees, decides to expand business into a catalog and utilize the status of mom’s friends at a Christmas Bazaar. Sells 100’s of tees during the holiday season. |
1990 |
Purchases sewing machine and splurges on outrageously expensive Gingher scissors. |
1992 |
Decides to take up sewing, begins creating Ralph Lauren-esque wrap skirts and oh so fab floral shorts. |
1996 |
Selfishly decides to open Abejas Boutique to expand her own closet. |
